Information you provide

When you sign up for early access or our waitlist, we collect your email address and optionally your name and company. When you submit feedback or a bug report, we collect the content of your submission and optionally your email address.

Information collected automatically

When you visit medaxai.com, we collect standard web analytics data including pages visited, time on page, referrer URL, browser type, and country-level location. We use PostHog for analytics, which is configured to respect your cookie consent preferences.

Information from the desktop app

DBMigrateAIPro is a self-hosted desktop application. Your database credentials, schemas, and data never leave your machine. The app does not transmit any database content to MedaxAI servers. The only data sent from the app is anonymised usage events (feature usage, error types) when you opt in to analytics.

We use the information we collect to: send you product updates and release notifications if you joined the waitlist or opted in; respond to bug reports and feedback you submit; improve the product based on anonymised usage patterns; ensure the security and stability of our services.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We share data only with service providers that help us operate the website and product: Resend (transactional email delivery), PostHog (product analytics — data stored in EU region), and Vercel (website hosting). Each provider is bound by data processing agreements.

Waitlist email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Feedback submissions are retained for 2 years to support product improvement. Website analytics data is retained for 12 months. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing hello@medaxai.com.

We use a cookie consent banner on medaxai.com. If you accept analytics cookies, PostHog sets a first-party cookie to track your session. If you reject analytics cookies, no tracking cookies are set. Strictly necessary cookies (e.g. session state) are always active. You can change your cookie preferences at any time using the cookie settings link in the footer.

Depending on your location, you may have rights under GDPR, CCPA, or other applicable laws including: the right to access personal data we hold about you; the right to correct inaccurate data; the right to erasure ("right to be forgotten"); the right to object to or restrict processing; the right to data portability. We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS/TLS for all data in transit, secure environment variable management for API keys, and minimal data collection principles. No system is completely secure — if you believe you have found a security vulnerability, please report it responsibly to hello@medaxai.com.

DBMigrateAIPro is a professional tool intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16 years of age.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date below and, where appropriate, notify waitlist subscribers by email. Your continued use of the site or app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
